St. Joseph's College in Brisbane, Australia, is a private Catholic boy's school with over 1200 students. The college has a long and distinguished history spanning 125 years and is committed to academic, sporting and cultural diversity of curriculum. St. Joseph's College needed to address the challenge facing all educational institutions today: how to keep up with the changes in technology while keeping costs to a minimum. Realising the importance of computing in education, St. Joseph's knew it needed to enhance its current computer offerings, which have grown exponentially in the past few years, and provide a solid technical foundation for its students. The solution needed to be robust enough to withstand the demands placed on school equipment by enthusiastic students. St. Joseph's College was one of the first schools in Australia to implement a total thin-client solution.
