Introducing the New V class L-Family of Thin Clients

The already versatile Wyse V class thin client now delivers even greater functionality with full Dual-Video support.

Created to meet and exceed the requirements of users running demanding multi-window applications that squeeze desktop space,

Supported dual-video modes available include:

Dual View mode; where specific tools or other applications – email for example - can be viewed on the second monitor on what, in effect, becomes an extended desktop.

Clone mode; where the second monitor simply replicates the first. Ideal for ‘point-of-sale’ and engaging retail presentations.

Span mode; where the combined resolution width of both monitors is treated as one display, with application windows bridging from one monitor to the next.

WDM 4.5 now offers the following features:

Increased reliability - during device updates and the ability to retry failed updates.
Increased back-end infrastructure support
Support for multiple databases
(Oracle/SQL Server/MSDE).
Support for Active directory.
Delegated administration - ability to delegate device management responsibility to other administrators with granular control over what actions they can perform on authorized devices.
Enhanced reporting - Additional reports to get a better understanding of the thin computing environment.
